Yes. There are many worlds that you can enjoy for free with DOKODEMO Door®. We recommend using a VR headset (Meta Quest 3), but you can also use it on a PC or smartphone.

Currently, most of the Metaverse is made up of CGI spaces, but the big difference with DOKODEMO Door® is that it is made with real live-action footage, allowing you to experience it as if you were actually there.

YouTube also began distributing VR videos around the fall of 2022. The big difference with DOKODEMO Door® is that YouTube only distributes videos one-way. DOKODEMO Door® allows you to enter the video and have real-time conversations with other participants. Communication is a major feature of DOKODEMO Door®, such as tour guides, training instructors, and other participants.

In a 360-degree video-based world, some movement within the space is possible, but since the space itself is a video, so-called "free walking" is not possible. However, in a 3D space created using the new Gaussian VR technology, free walking within facilities and buildings is possible. As with a VR headset, not many people own 360-degree cameras yet, but there are many content creators who have already created content with DOKODEMO Door® and created and published worlds, so feel free to ask questions or get advice from the community. Recommended models vary depending on the content you want to shoot and your budget, so please make use of the community.

When many people participate in a world created by your company or an event held by your company, each person will usually register as a member of DOKODEMO Door®. Depending on the corporation, there may be cases where you can use a single company account without requiring individual account registrations for an unspecified number of people (for use in trial events, in-facility use, etc.). In such cases, a corporate usage fee will be charged.

As stated here , we pay incentives to individuals and corporations as a commission for bringing in users (since membership registration is required, unspecified large numbers of users from corporations do not count).

DOKODEMO Door® can be used on smartphones and PCs, but unfortunately it is difficult to experience the "feeling of being there" that you can get with a VR headset. As they can be rented cheaply, we recommend use of a VR headset.
